In short my major event goals are:
- Complete a full ironman triathlon
- Run a marathon in under 3 hours
- Complete the 6-Foot Marathon
- Complete a 100km ultra
- Complete the Audax Alpine Classic - a very tough mountainous 200km bike ride
It would be great to run Boston Marathon next year, especially as I reached the qualifying time in Canberra, but the amount of money needed to get there would probably be prohibitive. I'll leave it on the list anyway as a possible goal.
So here's what the back half of the year (and the beginning of next) could look like:
31 August - Oxfam Trailwalker 100km run (might skip it as too close to Sydney marathon)
21 September - Sydney Marathon (go for sub 3 hours)
8 November - Great North Walk 100km run (if not Trailwalker)
18 December - Canberra Half Ironman
25 January - Audax Alpine challenge 200km bike ride
Feb - Huskisson Long Course Triathlon
14 March - 6 Foot Track Marathon
5 April - Ironman Port Macquarie
21 April - Boston Marathon (very long odds due to $$)
