Fake meat Pho and the lazy week

Ai it's been a soft old week. I've been feeling a little iffy - scratchy throat and fuzzy head - so the motivation really hasn't been there. Plus I've had a lot of external things on my plate (all to be revealed very shortly) so my head hasn't been in it either. Going out most nights hasn't helped my morning wake ups either.

I had a CSR conference to go to on Tuesday night then a horrible documentary for the Sydney Writers Festival on Wednesday night with my wife and Sarah from work (three vegans united!). Sticking a celebrity or two in a doco and making it about "serious issues" is not nearly enough to detract from woeful scripting, abysmal camera work, a gross oversimplification of important and complex issues and a thoroughly confusion method of presentation. Boy I wish I'd gone to the Big Read on Friday instead - that was amazing last year.

Anyway had a myserious meeting on Thursday night and dinner with my old uni mate Neal and is wife Lisa at the Green Gourmet (more vegan heaven) on Friday night.

Exercise wise - slept in Wednesday and went to HuRTS for a lunchtime run. Yoga Wednesday and that was it. Slept in Thursday and had a meeting at lunch so no run. Yoga Friday. Seriously - 2 yoga sessions and one run was the sum total of activity for the working week, that is LAME. No riding. No swimming. Things have got to change!

Today was fun, Sarah and I went to Cabramatta for the first time and we bought some fabric and found a Vietnamese tailor to make her a bridesmaids dress for her best friend's wedding in Canada in July! Then lunched in a vegetarian Vietnamese restaurant. Fake meat Pho, mmmmm tasty!
