So I saw Blair my physio last week, just back from 10 days riding in the Tour of Noumea. He's sort of "the man".
Anyhoo looks like I'm getting stronger and my range of motion is better, so hopefully the bone is knitting at the same time and I can enjoy a triumphant comeback when I start running again in December.
Although he tells me I'll have to start off doing 1 minute running, 1 minute walking. Then hopefully by the end of the month I should be ok to run half an hour at a time. Frustration much?
There are other perspectives. Inhisshadow pointed out to me, "Well Mike, looks like you'll just have to make sure you can run 10km within half an hour then..."
Blair's seeing Sarah now about her dodgy knee from a tragic bushdancing accident (true story) so hopefully he'll be able to get her running again.
Oooo ooo actually I meant to say I'm so proud of her right now! She decided to do a Hip Hop dance class in Surry Hills tonight and chose to ride her bike there and back!!! It's a nice bike, I'm glad she's getting out on it. Go Sarah!
