For some unknown reason lack of sleep doesn't seem to be affecting me much this last couple of weeks. I only got to bed around 11pm last night and when the alarm went at 5am I thought "screw it, I'm not getting up for yoga, better if I sleep in".
But then I couldn't really get back to sleep, and come 6am I thought I'd just get up anyway and do some yoga in the living room. So I did and I felt wide awake and full of energy! Had a fantastic yoga session and then a good run to work in the warm sunshine and mentally I was so alert I couldn't believe - by rights I should be a staggering zombie with the pitiful amount of sleep I've had every night this week.
Maybe it'll all catch up with me on the weekend, but I'm happy enough to go with it at the moment. I'll try to go for a swim after work and then bike ride tomorrow, yeeha!
